Our services include restoring shaft fit surfaces for bearing seats, repairing housing components, and reconstructing the tool taper on the spindle shaft. When needed, we also repair cooling systems, clamping mechanisms, and stator windings.
During initial inspection, each spindle unit undergoes a visual assessment to identify visible defects. If disassembly is required, we not only examine the damaged components but also check the tolerances of all related parts. After the inspection and diagnosis, we provide the customer with a detailed report outlining the issues, a proposed list of required repairs, and a quote with estimated costs and turnaround time. Repair work begins only after customer approval.
The cost of service depends on the spindle type and design, the nature of the defect, and the complexity and scope of the work. Diagnostics are provided free of charge.
If you’re experiencing issues with your Deckel Maho spindle, contact us today for a repair evaluation.
